Troubleshooting

Monsters aren't spawning

  • Make sure you've run /monstersetup with a spawn channel
  • Check that spawning is enabled with /monsterconfig
  • Verify the bot has permissions in the spawn channel
  • Ensure there's chat activity - spawns require messages
  • Wait a few minutes - spawns aren't instant

Bot doesn't respond to commands

  • Check if the bot is online in your member list
  • Ensure the bot has permission to read and send in the channel
  • Try using the command in a different channel
  • Re-invite the bot if permissions seem broken

Highlights not posting

  • Verify you've set a highlights channel with /monsterhighlights
  • Check bot permissions in the highlights channel
  • Make sure players haven't disabled their highlight announcements

Can't use admin commands

  • You need Administrator permission in the server
  • Server owners always have access
  • Check your Discord role permissions
